Sai Kung Not Saigon

After having our Italian dessert, we drove to Sai Kung with the Wongs.
Restaurants lined the pier with their fresh daily catch from the sea. We were too full to eat so, we'll have to come back on our next outing.

Saigon is pronounced by Cantonese Vietnamese as "Sai Kung".

Sai Kung in HKG used to be a village with great seafood restaurants. Actually, one bought live fish, prawns, shellfish, etc... from tanks and or containers at stores/stalls. Restaurants, usually upstairs, would cook your choices and served them with plenty of beer for an additional fee.

Not bad for "Ong Gia" who keep forgetting more and more of the trivia in daily life.

Love,
Your Only "Ong Gia"

That's impressive, Bo!
But my seafood trivia has not been uploaded yet.
Alright, Ong Gia gets a head start with 5 points.

Hey that's not fair giving BO 5 points for being a show-off. Haa!

Hey, Saigon is Saigon. You can't pronounce any other way. If you did then you are pronouncing it wrong. When in Rome do as Romans. I pronounce Paris like the French. Haaahaa!
