Medicine for the Poor

On our way to Cu Chi Tunnel we stopped at a small pagoda to look at dried herbs made by Buddhist monks. Varies types of leaves are set out to dry in the hot sun to then become medicine or tea for the poor & needy.

Buffet Breakfast Every Morning

We ate pho for breakfast every day even though there were pancakes, bacon, sausages, made-to -order omelets, cheese, fruits & pastries at the buffet. I love how they serve green bananas, too.

Grand Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

Our suite has 2 bedrooms.

Linden ended up sleeping with me & Ed. Lawrence & Oliver had their own bed.

Ho Chi Minh City

It was 11:25 pm when we checked in to Grand Hotel in HCM City.
Oliver was very tired.

Linden could still pose for me in our suite.

United 869 to Vietnam

Last week Monday we flew to Vietnam to celebrate Christmas. Our 7 day trip started with a 8:40 pm flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Big Boys at Ocean Park

After IP Man & lunch, we went to Ocean Park, Hong Kong's biggest home-grown theme park.
It has roller coasters, the world's largest aquarium and an atoll.

This is the only picture I have of the big boys for the day because Ed took them on a different path.
Linden & I didn't hook up with the bigger boys until 8:35 pm that night at home.

Lippo Building

Since we don't have a Christmas tree in our flat, the boys are now models for every & any Christmas tree we find in Hong Kong.
Here's another one at Lippo Building.

Also, in the main entrance on other side of the Christmas tree, lies this wall depicitng some Chinese mythological tale or feng shiu element to protect the Lippo Building.
All I know is it looks impressingly "preety".
