Ruins of the Church of Saint Paul is the most famous sight in Macau. The facade and stairway are all that remain of this early 17th Jesuit church. With its wonderful statues, portals, and engravings that effectively make up a "sermon in stone" and a bible of the poor, some consider the ruins to be the greatest momnument to Christiany in Asia to help the illiterate understand the Passion of Christ and the lives of the saints.
Na Tcha Temple sits quietly besides the Ruins of the Church of Saint Paul was built in 1888 and dedicated to the child god of war to halt the plague occuring at that time.
