Ti: looks like the other car was a Honda. Japanese versus German. German will win everytime! If you can afford it, buy a MBZ or BMW or even an Audi. American cars are pretty tough too. I have seen other DMs in fender benders too and our American cars have very little damage when it hit a Japanese car. Quality is another issue. Haaahaa!
Glad this was a small incident. If it were a big accident the more the damage to the car the better, as long as the passenger cage is intact. Cars are built with crumple zones to absorb impact and disperse energy. Cars that show little damage in a major accident could be transferring that energy to their occupants and signals a poorly engineered vehicle.
